Import your products from Shopify or WooCommerce

Bring your existing Shopify or WooCommerce catalog into Worldwatch inventory: scan the channel, pick exactly what to import, and nothing is added until you confirm.

Connecting Shopify or WooCommerce as a sales channel lets you publish to it and keeps your sales in sync, but it doesn't automatically copy your existing products into Worldwatch. To bring your current catalog in, import it. You choose exactly what comes in, and nothing is written to your inventory until you confirm.

Import your catalog

Open the importer

In Inventory, click Import catalog (top-right, next to Add a watch).

Choose your channel

In Import products, under Your sales channels, pick where to import from: Shopify, WooCommerce, or eBay. (To import from a feed, file, or website instead, choose Add custom channel; see bulk import.)

Start the import

Worldwatch explains what it does: it scans your catalog, shows you everything it finds, and lets you pick exactly what to import; nothing is written to your inventory until you confirm. Click Start import.

Review and confirm

Worldwatch scans the channel and lists what it found. Pick the products you want, let AI enrich the watch details, map any fields that need it, and confirm. Only then are they added to your inventory. The review, mapping, and AI-enrichment step is the same for every source; see bulk import for how it works.

The steps are identical for Shopify, WooCommerce, and eBay: you pick the channel on the first screen, and the rest is the same.

Watches are matched across your sources by SKU. If an imported watch shares a SKU with one already in your inventory (whether that came from Shopify, WooCommerce, or a spreadsheet), Worldwatch recognizes it as the same watch and links them instead of adding a duplicate. See matching by SKU.

What happens after

Imported watches land in your inventory as normal records. From there you edit them, add photos, set prices, and publish them to your sales channels, including back to the channel you imported from.
