After you place a buy request and the seller accepts it, the order runs through a clear set of steps. The seller updates each step as it happens, so you always know where your order stands, and you get an email and an in-app notification at every update. When the order completes, the watch lands in your inventory automatically.
Open your order
Open the order from your Buying orders. Each order shows its number, the date it was created, the current status, the seller (with a link to their profile), a timeline, and the invoice.
The order timeline
The seller moves the order through these steps, and each is timestamped as it's done:
- Order accepted: the seller accepted your buy request.
- Invoice received: the seller's invoice is available; open it with View invoice.
- Payment confirmed: your payment has been confirmed. (Under the buy agreement, you pay within 72 hours of acceptance.)
- Order shipped: the seller has shipped the watch.
- Order completed: the order is done.
The status at the top of the order reflects the latest step, so a quick glance tells you where things are.
You're kept in the loop
You don't have to keep checking. Each time the seller updates a step, you get:
- an email update, and
- an in-app notification.
You control which notifications you receive in your notification settings.
The watch lands in your inventory
Completed orders fill your inventory for you. The moment an order reaches Order completed, the watch you bought is added to your Worldwatch inventory automatically, no manual entry. From there you can manage it, record its acquisition, and re-list or sell it like any other watch.
